This place was really good for our large group of ladies of ten. We were seated in a private room with a large round table which is perfect to visit. Everyone liked what they ordered and the service was excellent, we all decided we would come back here very soon.

My family and I had a fantastic time while dining at Bon Vie recently. It was a beautiful September evening, so we chose to dine outside. This was a great choice as Bon Vie overlooks the large Easton fountain on the north side. Two-thumbs up for ambiance. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was stellar. Everyone loved their meals and we had enough left over for almost everyone to have lunch the next day. This was my first visit to Bon Vie and I left wondering why it had taken me so many years to give it a try!

The eggs Benedict was not as heavy with the hollandaise sauce which I appreciated! The eggs were perfectly poached where the yolk is still runny. My fruit had some little insects in it, which is why I gave this a 4 star review. My friend really enjoyed the croque madame. He enjoyed the fries and it reminded us of fair fries. They are not salted which is fine with us! It lets you really enjoy the fries themselves. The pricing of the food here is really not bad for what you get! Would probably come back to try something different.

I walked past this restaurant numerous times, looked at the menu and said yum. Before heading back to the Sunshine State I stopped in for a late lunch and was seated at a lovely outside table. The weather was sunny and perfect. I knew exactly what I was going to order. Lobster bisque prepared with sherry and creme fraiche and a B.V. wedge with bacon, tomatoes and roquefort vinaigrette. Delish! Bon Vie is located within Easton Market. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the outside tables reminiscent of my days in Paris (that may be a stretch but it was nice). Natalie V. was professional, proficient and spot on with here service. I truly enjoyed myself. Next time in in town, I'll try the $5 Wednesday martinis and the bar bites.

Bon Vie is the perfect place to go at Easton! Ot is located in the middle area right by the fountain. In order to get there you would have to park and walk into the shopping area. Bon vie has both inside and outside seating. The outside seating has the best view of the fountain - perfect for sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying some great food! They do offer an assortment of bread & butter to begin with. We started with the calamari & shrimp appetizer which was delicious! For an entree I had the grilled salmon salad - the portion was large and very filling! Overall I enjoyed my salad! They also offer gluten free option on their menu. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, however our host was very rude in the beginning. Despite that, I enjoyed my meal and will be back :)

Updating review since the menu has changed quite a bit since my last review. As mentioned in my earlier review, the location is fabulous, especially in the summer. It overlooks the main fountain in Easton that sits between a number of interesting shops and restaurants. The cocktails are always good, and they have an excellent wine list. Unfortunately, the salt and peeper shrimp, which I liked so much is no longer available, and neither are the mussels :(. However, their fondue is still pretty good and their tomato flatbread is usually excellent -- although this last time it came out cold. We also got the Spicy Shrimp Creole Pasta, which came with small tomatoes, mushrooms, spaghettini, and green onions. It was not as flavorful as it sounds and was rather low on salt. Even after adding the salt, it was quite bland. The caramelized Brussels sprouts come with bacon on the other hand was delicious. We've also eaten the beef stroganoff here, which is usually pretty good. Their bread service here is excellent. They usually bring out a hot loaf of bread with butter, which is delicious. We've almost always had very good service. This last time was an exception though. The server was polite and friendly but he was almost never there when we needed him. He showed up very occasionally to fill water and forgot to bring bread with the meal that we had asked for. Hope this is a one off experience here.

Setting: no handicapped parking but great ambience inside. Lots of bottles to select from. Definitely looks like a wine bistro. Unfortunately it is rather noisy without any sound deadening so it is hard to carry on a conversation. Plan on coming on a Monday evening when there is no corkage fee. Food: the French onion soup had too much bread under the cheese and a pretty thin broth. See photo. The lettuce wraps were ok, just needed to be kicked up a notch to be really excellent. The fondue sampler was really excellent--who knew that cheddar and port wine went together so well? Will definitely try that at home in the near future. And, be sure to try the wine sampler as well in order to learn which one you like best and then order a glass of it! Service: excellent though the kitchen seemed a bit slow. Enough attention without obsequiousness. Overall, I would definitely go again...
